Men’s Cashmere Jumpers & Cardigans

フィルター

Cashmere knitwear should sit under a jacket without announcing itself. Ours is knitted on a fine twelve-gauge frame in pure cashmere, with seams linked stitch by stitch by hand, and cut close without holding on.

Knitted close and finished slowly, a jumper keeps its shape at the cuff. . .

How to wear men’s cashmere jumpers and cardigans

Men's cashmere jumpers and cardigans do their best work as the layer nobody comments on. A round neck under a jacket gives a clean line at the shoulder and needs nothing at the collar; a V-neck takes a shirt and tie and is the one that reads correctly in an office. A cardigan left open over a plain shirt is easier than one fastened, which is why the placket is made fine enough to sit flat either way. In black, grey and navy these pieces disappear beneath tailoring; in beige or lilac they are the thing the outfit is built around.

Take the size you normally take. The fit is close rather than tight, with room across the shoulder and a sleeve that finishes at the wrist bone. Wash by hand below 30°C in a wool detergent, press the water out rather than wringing it, and dry flat away from direct heat. Fold rather than hang, so the shoulders keep their shape. Cared for that way, men's cashmere jumpers and cardigans stay soft and hold their line for years.
