Our merino scarves are handcrafted from fibres measuring 80 to 100 millimetres and 17 to 19.5 microns, finished at 120 grams and cut to 180 by 30 centimetres.
Merino carries a natural crimp that holds air, and a surface that moves moisture away from the skin instead of keeping it there. That is what makes it a year-round scarf rather than a winter one: warm enough on a cold platform, light enough to keep on when you reach the office.
An 80 to 100 millimetre staple is long by any measure, and it is what keeps the yarn smooth and the surface even. Spun from fibres that fine, the cloth sits close to the neck without weight and stays that way through years of ordinary wear.
Worn under a coat with a simple knot, or left in a loose drape down the front for something easier. Solid tones through navy, charcoal, light grey and camel, alongside burgundy, orange and dark green when the scarf is meant to be seen, and our classic check designs.
