How to wear women’s lambswool scarves
Women's lambswool scarves are worn most successfully with a light hand. The regular 180 × 30 cm takes a double loop at the throat and holds it through a day without being touched again; left long over a coat it reads more simply and shows the drape the cloth is milled for. The small 145 × 25 cm sits neatly inside a collar and under a jacket lapel. The oversized 200 × 70 cm works across the shoulders as a wrap, and folded over the arm in transit.
Colour is the decision that shapes everything around it. Camel, grey and cream read as neutrals and disappear beneath tailoring. Navy and black keep their depth in winter light. Red, pink and the clan designs are worth building an outfit around rather than layering into one. Wash by hand below 30°C, press the water out rather than wringing it, and dry flat away from direct heat. Treated that way, women's lambswool scarves will outlast the coat they were bought for.
