Slim through the body, narrow at the sleeve, with a hem that finishes at the hip and stays there. That cut is what lets a sweater go under a jacket without the shoulder bunching or the cuff gathering, and it is the difference between a layer that disappears and one that has to be accommodated.
The blend is chosen for how it behaves rather than how it reads on a label.
