A sweater is made by its fit as much as its fibre. Ours are knitted slim in a wool and cashmere blend, in plain colours, and cut to sit under a jacket without adding width at the shoulder.
Slim through the body, narrow at the sleeve, with a hem that finishes at the hip and stays there. That cut is what keeps the outer line clean, and it is the difference between a layer that disappears beneath a coat and one that has to be worked around.
The blend is chosen for how it behaves rather than how it reads on a label. Wool carries the structure and holds the shape through a day of wear; the cashmere in it softens the surface against the skin. Together they make a sweater that goes from a cold platform to a warm office without being taken off.
Plain designs throughout, in colours that coordinate with what is already in the wardrobe: black, grey, charcoal and navy for tailoring, camel and cream to lift a dark coat, green and purple when something is meant to show. Layer one beneath a coat or jacket, or wear it alone with a scarf at the neck.
