Women’s Merino Wool Scarves

A merino scarf is light enough to keep on indoors and warm enough to leave the house in. Ours is handcrafted from fibres measuring 80 to 100 millimetres and 17 to 19.5 microns, finished at 120 grams in a 250-year-old heritage mill.

A merino fibre carries a natural crimp that holds air, and a surface that moves moisture away from the skin instead of keeping it there. What that gives you is a scarf which warms without overheating and can stay on when you come indoors. It is the reason merino is worn from an autumn morning through to a spring evening rather than put away in March.

An 80 to 100 millimetre staple is long by any measure, and it is what keeps the yarn smooth and the surface even. Spun from fibres that fine, the cloth sits close to the neck without weight and stays that way through years of ordinary wear.

Solid tones through navy, camel, light grey and dark green, alongside burgundy, orange and coffee for when the scarf is meant to be seen, and our classic check patterns. All are cut to one size at 180 by 30 centimetres.
