Men’s Lambswool Scarves

Filter

Lambswool has a resilience that rewards being worn without ceremony. Ours is grade A, sorted to 55–80 millimetres and 17–21 microns, then woven through a traditional twenty-nine-step process in a 250-year-old heritage mill.

The length of the fibre gives the cloth its character. A lon. . .

How to wear men’s lambswool scarves

Men's lambswool scarves are forgiving in a way that suits how they are actually worn. The regular 180 × 30 cm takes a fold and a draw-through at the throat and holds it all day under a coat collar without being touched again; the natural crimp means it recovers overnight rather than keeping the crease. Left long down the front of an open overcoat it reads more simply. The small 145 × 25 cm sits inside a jacket collar without bulk, and the oversized 200 × 70 cm works across the shoulders on a long journey.

Colour does a lot of work here, because lambswool takes dye deeply and keeps it. Grey, camel and navy sit beneath tailoring without asking for attention, and stay true rather than drifting under winter light. Red and the Scottish designs are worth building the outfit around. Wash by hand below 30°C, press the water out rather than wringing it, and dry flat away from direct heat: cared for that way, men's lambswool scarves will outlast the coat they were bought for.
