Women’s Winter Coats & Jackets

Filter

Our coats and jackets are made in faux fur to our own designs, fully lined, and finished with a collar set by hand.

Each design is drawn in-house and made in a single run. When a colourway is gone it is not repeated, which is why the collection stays small and why no two winters loo. . .

How to wear women’s winter coats and jackets

Women's winter coats and jackets are worn most convincingly with everything underneath kept plain. A long coat left open over a slim knit and a straight trouser reads better than one fastened, because the length is doing the work and the vertical line stays unbroken; fastened, it becomes a silhouette of its own and wants a narrower shoe. The short coat is the one for daily wear, finishing at the hip so it sits cleanly over a skirt or a trouser. The cropped jacket is best over knitwear, where a jacket beneath would add width at the shoulder.

Take the size you normally take; the cut allows for a jumper underneath without pulling across the back. Shake the coat out after wear and hang it on a broad hanger with room either side, so the pile is never compressed. Brush in the direction of the fur to lift it, spot clean rather than washing, and keep it away from direct heat. Kept that way, women's winter coats and jackets hold their shape and their surface season after season.
