How to wear women’s designer scarves

Women's designer scarves are easiest to wear when they are the only pattern in the outfit. A DC Check or a tartan wants a plain coat and a plain knit around it; worn against stripe or print, both lose. Looped once at the throat with the ends left long is the most restrained way to show a design, since the check reads down the front rather than being folded away. In the solid colours the same scarf does the opposite job and sits beneath anything, which is why most people who buy one design end up owning a plain one too.

The oversized cut works across the shoulders as a wrap and folded over the arm in transit. Wash by hand below 30°C, press the water out rather than wringing it, and dry flat away from direct heat. Every piece leaves in our signature gift packaging, checked and packed individually by hand, so women's designer scarves arrive ready to give without a second parcel.
